The board retains the image after erasing. Cleaning after each use is required. This is a good value for the price. The boards are large and easy to install.

The shipping cost were twice as much as the board. There should be an indication that the shipping costs are the same if you order multiple items. I landed up ordering 4 total in two shipments. Could have saved $60 in shipping if I would have known up front. The website says most items ship free. None of the items I looked at for dry erase boards or accessories shipped free. Not sure what ships free.
